March 1764: Andrew Lewis vs. Patrick McCollam.--Qui Tam for stealing plaintiff's hog.
21 November 1764: Andrew Lewis, four tithables, and 1,420 acres added to tithables

24 August 1767: Andrew Lewis, Patrick Martin, John Dickenson, recommended for Sheriff.
17 January 1775: Of Hugh Allen, deceased, for a horse proved by brother, James Allen; of John Ladlers, for driving pack horses; of sundry persons for work on the expedition under James Allen and Hugh Allen--certified by Andrew Lewis; of Wm. Kinkead, for sundries for Militia; of Ralph Stewart, for provisions for his Company of Militia.
Assorted dates for Andrew Lewis:
1764: Thomas Bullett, Andrew Lewis, and Thomas Lewis assumed a title for 300 acres of land "at Little Warm Springs," known today as Hot Springs.
1766: Agreement signed 21 November between Bullett and the 2 Lewis brothers that their land at Hot Springs be outfitted with bath houses and "other convenient and necessary houses for the entertainment of those persons who should choose to visit the said springs."
1767: Andrew Lewis obtains title to 657 acres of land at present-day Salem, VA. He is now buried in East Hill Cemetary which lies within those lands.
He married Elizabeth Anne Givens. She was born 1728 in County Antrim, Ulster, Ireland and died 26 September 1781 in Salem, VA. She was the daughter of Samuel Givens and Sarah Cathey. View the Givens line here.
